WE ARRIVED

Friends and Family,
 My last month in the US flew by and so many things happened that last month. I received two new part time as needed jobs plus was still working at a nursing home and doing home health care. I had raised enough money to stay in Brasil. I was accepted into a college for when I  come back to finish my nursing degree. That is just the major things.


Yesterday, my mom and I and an other woman and her daughter embarked on an adventure. We would fly down to Brasil a week before the others from our church. We had a very uneventful flight. The food was good, we were in good company and most of the four were able to fall asleep on the plane.

June 1, 2014

Little over a month before I leave for Brazil for my 2nd missionary journey.

I will be leaving July 8th with my mom and 2 other ladies for Brazil. A week after we arrive the rest of my church group will be coming down.

This next coming month will be extremely busy with me preparing for my 5 month trip. I will be visiting churches and interacting with many people.

While in Brazil this semester I will be teaching at the International school in Carpina, helping the local Friends Churches and the pastor's family and  volunteer time at the different Living Stones ministries.

Today I spoke at my church about my mission trip and next week I will be at a different church. Please keep me in your prayers.
